Lourdes Duque Baron, MHA, MSG, is a Catholic baby boomer and the wife of Dr. Robinson V. Baron. Upon embarking on this incredible journey, she has dedicated her life to spreading the message of Padre Pio. In late 2012, she will open a shrine of St. Pio da Pietrelcina in the convent of the Trinitarians of Mary on 3009 E. Cameron Avenue in West Covina, California. Somewhere in the process of putting this book together, I had a self-realization: the lost soul that I desired to save belonged to me. And so, while I penned the simple truth of our great trials and tribulations, I found God speaking to me. I found myself in the middle of a transformation. It was March 16, 2011. I had just finished reading The 33 Doctors of the Church by the Capuchin author Fr. Christopher Rengers, O.F.M. Cap. It was an account of the lives of saints who shaped the hearts and minds of the Catholic Church. In my study, I had a new revelation every time I came to a new page in the book, prompting me to develop this incessant need to turn to the next, to seek out the next revelation. I came to realize how little I knew of my faith and it became clear to me that I have not only been keeping Jesus at a distance, but that I have been offending my Lord for the past 64 years of my life.

The thing that I love best with Lourdes Duque Baron, is the ability to have fun, to enjoy every project she is in. There is a willingness to learn more- artists have to reinvent themselves over and over again. Rare are those who are able to step from one music genre to another. She seems to have done it all, from writing a book, getting her songs up on Spotify and VEVO, being officially listed as an MTV artist and winning some of the most coveted awards in the international scene. She is not showing any signs of stopping when you love something- you just go for it. Her ideas are endless and writers like me, who follow the life and work of artists from different walks of life have a learned a thing or to- more than the necessary skills and information needed to excel even in my own particular industry.

Lourdes Duque Baron, has recently been named as one of the legendary musicians who will be awarded at the Global PNOY Web Radio Awards by Jimmy Dee ( Las Vegas). According to my last interview apart from the International Music Video "Alive" with Timeless Entertainment Inc. and CLIPS FILMS Production, she is also set on creating a powerful music collaboration with the beatmaker who gave hit tunes of Gloc-9. Gloc-9 is one of the most successful rappers in the Philippines, the same beatmaker Klumcee would be the one to create the new beat for Award Winning artist Lourdes Duque Baron this 2017. Here is a real powerful woman who is changing our perspective. A lot of young people get bored, without even accomplishing anything. Some just content themselves doing the same thing over and over again. I chose Lourdes Duque Baron and featured her, because she has a message to tell. She is filled with vibrant energy that is coursing through her veins and her age has never stopped her from merging ideas with different types of people.
